Family of injured Humboldt Broncos player Ryan Straschnitzki returns to new renovated home
For the first time in over a year injured Humboldt Broncos player Ryan Straschnitzki will be sleeping in his own bed. After several months of renovations, the family home in Airdrie, just north of Calgary, is once again ready to be lived in. Straschnitzki, paralyzed from the chest down in a 2018 bus crash that left 16 people dead and 13 others injured, and his family moved back in Saturday after living in a hotel since last July.
