Quebec Premier François Legault is fending off criticism for not visiting flood-stricken communities until nearly a week after torrential rain struck the province. Legault said his first priorities were making sure power was restored and damaged roads were repaired. Now, he says the biggest issue is financial compensation for people whose homes were flooded.
