Companies that made "excess profits" from the COVID-19 pandemic should have to pay extra taxes to help pay for the massive public costs governments have taken on to see Canada through it, says NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh. He says that excess could be calculated based on previous profits and trends and comparisons to this year.
