Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government has reached an agreement with the provinces and territories to provide rent relief to small businesses that can’t afford to pay their landlords due to the pandemic-related shutdown. The federal help is expected to lower rent by 75 per cent for affected small businesses.
