Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam highlighted on Friday the front-line workers who have endured and rushed in to help in the COVID-19 crisis. Tam shared a personal story in a poem sent to one of her staff about a nurse in Nova Scotia who was recently reassigned to care for patients at a nursing home.
