British Columbia’s provincial health officer says eight new cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed today. Dr. Bonnie Henry says four were close contacts of a previously confirmed case, two recently returned from Iran and one is a visitor from the Seattle area. The final case is a woman with no known links to other cases and who had not recently travelled outside of B.C.
