British Columbia officials are encouraging residents to prepare themselves as the province braces itself for more storms. The province announced it has is reopening a section of the flood-damaged Trans-Canada Highway as of Thursday afternoon in British Columbia, which it says will help connect the Lower Mainland to the province's Interior.
