The Government of Alberta is walking back its decision to eliminate COVID-19 safety measures after weeks of pressure from local leaders, physicians and Alberta families. Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, says a rise in non-ICU admissions and emerging data from the U.S. led to the decision.
