OTTAWA. x--20s. The federal government has announced a 900-million-dollar settlement with members of the military and employees at the Defence department. The money will settle several class-action lawsuits filed by workers who endured sexual harassment, gender discrimination and sexual assault in the military. Plaintiff Amy Graham says the suits were intended to change the culture in the military but they were also intended to provide closure.
