Singh demands First Nations justice in courts
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is demanding the federal government take concrete steps toward reconciliation, calling on Ottawa to drop a pair of Federal Court appeals he says represent a hypocritical approach to justice for First Nations children. Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller says any First Nations child who suffered discrimination in the child-welfare system will receive fair compensation.
