Trudeau critiques Andrew Scheer in stump speech in Nova Scotia
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau focused a speech to the Nova Scotia Liberal Party annual meeting in Antigonish on Friday night on criticizing his opponent, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer. Trudeau's speech focused on economic issues, and he repeated his familiar themes of policies that would assist middle income Canadians. He cited his government's success in having steel and aluminum tariffs lifted and in concluding the new NAFTA negotiations. However, his main message was aimed at Scheer, who he denounced as willing to give in to the Americans.
