Albert Finney, the star of films as diverse as "Tom Jones" and "Skyfall" has died as the age of 82. Finney's family announced that the five-time Oscar nominee died after a short illness. In later years he brought authority to big-budget and high-grossing action movies, including the James Bond thriller "Skyfall" and two of the Bourne films. Finney turned down a knighthood when it was offered, saying in 2000 that he would rather be a "mister" than a "Sir" Although Finney rarely discussed his personal life, he said in 2012 that he had been treated for kidney cancer for five years.
