Newsroom Ready: O'Toole joins calls to move next Olympics out of China
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole says China's human-rights record, and especially its treatment of its Uighur minority population, is a reason for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to seek to have the 2022 Winter Olympics moved out of Beijing and to another country. A group of about a dozen Canadian MPs and other politicians issued a letter last week calling for the Olympics to be moved.
