B.C. to cut child-care fees by up to $550 a month
Child-care fees in B.C. are set to drop by up to $550 a month starting in December for children in kindergarten and younger who go to a licensed child-care provider. Katrina Chen, minister of state for childcare, says the reductions are in addition to earlier cost savings implemented by the province and they apply to 96 per cent of eligible child-care spaces.
