1981. Gay rights supporters marching on Dundas Street in Toronto, February 20, 1981, on their way to 52 Division police station from Queen's Park. Six people were later arrested after a scuffle with police outside the station in what was generally a peaceful and well-controlled march. The organizers, members of the Right To Privacy Committee, formed to defend the men charged as bawdy house keepers or found-ins, appealed to the crowd during speeches at Queen's Park not to become violent.
