Snowden refugee in Canada demands Trudeau grant asylum to others
Vanessa Rodel, one of the refugees who helped briefly shelter U.S. whistleblower Edward Snowden in Hong Kong six years ago, is asking the federal government to approve the asylum applications of the others who helped him. Rodel arrived in Canada last March with her seven-year-old daughter, Keana. They want Keana's father, her two half siblings and the other two adults who helped Snowden to be given the same approval to come to Canada.
