The Crystal Palace, Sydenham Hill, South East London, in 1913. The mainly glass structure was built to house the Great Exhibition of 1851, and was originally constructed in Hyde Park. It was reconstructed at Sydenham Hill in 1854 and was destroyed by fire on 30th November 1936.
