Newsroom Ready: N.L. Premier sets sights on clean energy plan for Atlantic region
Premier Dwight Ball discussed clean energy with his Quebec counterpart Francois Legault this week. Ball says clean energy will be a focus of discussions between Atlantic provinces next year and he wants to bring Quebec into the conversation. Ball says his province's hydro resources could help the region transition to cleaner energy sources, but stressed that the mistakes of the over-budget Muskrat Falls dam would not be repeated.
