Museum buys hockey stick believed oldest in the world
The Canadian Museum of History says a hockey stick it bought for $300,000 is the oldest one known to exist. Mark Presley, who sold the stick to the museum near Ottawa, says the nearly 200-year-old item is a "vital link" to the past.
