Protest trucks by fans of NewJeans, May 9, 2024 : Protest trucks deployed by fans of K-Pop girl group NewJeans are seen outside the headquarters building of the K-pop powerhouse Hybe in Seoul, South Korea. Members of Bunnies, the girl group's fandom, staged a protest outside the building of Hybe by deploying 'protest trucks' to voice their grievances against Hybe. The LED boards on trucks read (L-R), ''Hybe guarantee careers of NewJeans and Min Hee-Jin'', ''Hybe stop malicious propaganda and concentrate on support for comeback of NewJeans'' and ''Hybe have conscience!. Hybe, please keep your hands off ADOR!''. Min Hee-Jin is the CEO of ADOR, subsidiary company of Hybe. Bang Si-Hyuk is a founder and chairman of Hybe. Hybe filed a breach-of-duty complaint against Min Hee-Jin in April, claiming Min had plotted to usurp managerial control of the music label behind NewJeans. A Seoul court is deliberating on an injunction filed by Min to halt Hybe from firing her as ADOR CEO during an upcoming shareholders' meeting on May 31.
